When subscribing to a paid premium service using MTN’s WASP digital content providers you are taken through an approval, double opt-in, and notification process. This makes it harder for rogue digital content providers to opt you into a subscription service without your consent, or approval.

Even though it might lead to less revenue, MTN is open and transparent about the digital content being provided through their system because this is often the most abused subscription service.

The Wireless Application Service Provider’s Association (WASPA) reckons that content services are still delivering quality content, having given out awards at its inaugural 2022 Waspies awards ceremony. It also encourages its members to be open and transparent and makes it easy for customers to cancel WASP services.

Be it as it may, it does happen that you or a child will subscribe to a service having misunderstood perhaps the costs of the service, or don’t enjoy the content anymore.

Let’s see how you can check for, view, manage, and cancel subscription services on MTN.
